Senior National Conference leader Javed Rana lashed out at Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and their coalition regime, for what he termed as the “darkest period in the history of the state”.
Addressing a meeting at Chajjla panchayat of Mendhar, Rana said, “The state witnessed many turmoils, but the phase of PDP-BJP regime only made things worse. Both these parties owe an apology to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for compromising their interests and always keeping their personal interests over those of people, be it development, governance or security.”
He further said, “The current alienation is a gift of the previous alliance partners. They pushed the state into instability.”
