Sikh bodies condemn killing of innocent in New Zealand attack

In one voice, Sikh leaders said that entire Sikh community is deeply saddened after this brutal terrorist act and “we express our deep condolence and sympathy with bereaved families and with the entire Muslim community at this crucial juncture”.

Various Sikh bodies including Sikh Intellectuals Circle J&K, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) J&K, International Sikh Federation J&K, Akal Purakh Ki Fouj, J&K and J&K Sikh Students Federation have strongly condemned the barbaric killings of nearly 49 worships in two mosques of New Zealand.

Senior Sikh leader of these organizations including S Narinder Singh Khalsa, Bhai Gurdev Singh, Sardar Rajinder Singh Kashmir, Bhai Ram Singh, Sardar Manmohan Singh Khalsa, Sardar Ranjeet Singh, Sardar Swarn Singh, Sardar Devinder Singh, Sardar Amarjit Singh, Sardar Manjeet Singh, Sardar Amandeep Singh and Sardar Surjit Singh, after an emergency condolence meeting in Jammu said, “It seems to be a well planned racist attack aimed at demonizing Muslim community and said world community must come forward to curb growing right-wing extremism and fanaticism with strong measures.”
