Bandipora, 13 April: In a shocking incident, a girl (Name with Held) has Committed Suicide after allegedly raped by her father in Chaliwaan area of Bandipora District.
Reports said that the girl committed suicide after she was raped by her father at her home. Police after receiving compliant have taken the dead body to Bandipora Hospital for conducting a postmortem and the accused father has been arrested.
SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik(IPS) While confirming the incident said that they have registered an FIR and the accused father has been arrested.
Case FIR No 04/2019 U/S 506,376,306 has been registered in Police Station Aragam against the accused and investigation has been started in the matter. "more details will follow"
The incident has shocked the entire area with people demanding stern action against the accused. "The incident has brought shame to all of us. We all feel ashamed of ourselves, " Said a neighbor of the victim demanding action against the accused.
